Rhetorical Fallacy refers to techniques of false reasoning that lead people to wrong conclusions. The ADD cult promotes such lines of reasoning which only demonstrates how Soriano’s followers are incapable of engaging in logical debate.

Black-and-white thinking is common within high control religions, well displayed by the ADD in the concept that if you are not a follower of Soriano, you do not have the truth. These people equate truth with being a member of the ADD and following the Bible guidelines.

Interestingly, those who oppose teachings from the ADD are labeled as following “corruptions” or “inventions” because Soriano’s followers believe that everyone outside the ADD is following Satan the devil. The reason people do not believe ADD teachings is attributed to Satan blinding the minds of unbelievers.

Well here is a conversation between an ADD member and a Catholic. Observe the false reasoning employed by the ADD member;

YoLak Agco Agbas:  “Women must foolow this will of God, if they have Christ in them.”

1 Timothy 2:9 likewise also that WOMEN should ADORN themselves in RESPECTABLE APPAREL, with MODESTY and SELF-CONTROL, not with BRAIDED HAIR and GOLD or PEARLS or COSTLY ATTIRE. Because in Revelation 19:8 it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure” FOR THE FINE LINEN IS THE RIGHTEOUS DEEDS OF THE SAINTS.

Alinaitwe Simon Peter: I think your interpreting the word of God literally.Dont use Bible textS according to your personal ideas and imaginations (2Pet 1:22).

YoLak Agco Agbas: You just want to insert your corrupted doctrine to convince women to follow it. But not in the aspect of the will of God, which is written.

Alinaitwe Simon Peter: Not what u think please!Do u mean am the one who wrote Rev or Song of Songs! My bro. its ur right to inform but also our duty to tell and direct!

YoLak Agco Agbas: We should follow the words of Christ, no more no less.

Alinaitwe Simon Peter: He came to fulfill what was written not to abolish.How would u define the word of Christ, if asked!

YoLak Agco Agbas: The words of Christ, is the truth.

Alinaitwe Simon Peter: What is the Truth of your words?Do u see any truth in your words which are contradicting the Bible!

YoLak Agco Agbas: Just believing the words of God, based on what is written not in inventions.

Alinaitwe Simon Peter: Right to believe, but wrong to believe what u don’t understand.Better to ask(examine) in depth what u believe before exposing ur weakness.

It is very clear from the arguments of the ADD member that he does not understand the context of 1 Timothy 2:9 and thinks that women should not braid their hair, wear jewelry or expensive attire.

However this is not the case. The dress code in that verse is culturally relative and 1 Timothy 2:9 provide instructions for both men and women to follow during liturgy and prayers only-and not when they are outside of liturgical prayers. It is important for this ADD member to read the whole passage and understand the context instead of cherry picking verses-the cause of which he is making mistakes and erroneous interpretations.

Is not this flawed Biblical interpretation enough to make everyone not to believe the unbiblical teachings of the ADD cult? Their preaching is not worthy attention for True Christians.

ADD doctrines and teachings contain numerous erroneous concepts that are supported by logical fallacies, outright lying and hypnotism.
